Top Energy has operations throughout the Far North. The Company is privately owned by a power consumer trust and employs staff in Geothermal Generation, Distribution and Transmission Lines operations.

We are seeking a Network Management Systems Engineer to manage and maintain the Advanced Distribution Management Systems (ADMS), including management systems, operational performance and reporting requirements.

This position will report to the Network Operations Manager and is based at our Kerikeri office.

Key areas of focus will be to:

• Review and maintain existing equipment, modify database structures and system changes
• Test and evaluate new hardware and systems.
• Assist in commissioning and field testing of hardware and software
• Undertake routine administration tasks on servers
• Liaise, provide support and assist in system training and development of user documentation
• Provide technical input to improvements and recommend enhancements and process improvements

To succeed in this role you will have experience working with SCADA, IT and Communication Systems. You will have technical experience within the electricity distribution industry, ideally with a relevant tertiary qualification.
