We require a competent and motivated Structural Design Engineer in our Tauranga Office. The position has a varied role including the preparation of preliminary and detailed designs for residential, commercial and industrial projects, project administration / on-site investigation / technical development etc. The candidate should enjoy working on an extensive range of projects; enjoy the challenges of utilising new technologies and problem solving involved in producing the latest technical designs.
We are looking for a technically oriented Structural Design Engineer with sound knowledge and experience.
The ideal candidate requires:
- BE Hons specialised in structure
- Proven seismic experience to NZ codes
- Strong technical knowledge and attention to detail
- The desire to learn and adapt
- Excellent communication
- Good time-management
- Experience with ETABs and Microstran
