We require an experienced tradesperson in Fitting and Turning; Fitting and Electrical trade; or Mechanical Engineering, with relevant industrial experience within the FMCG industry.
This is a key role within our organisation to ensure the maintenance of our buildings, plants and services without compromising the health and safety of our staff, product safety or operational effectiveness.
The hours for this position are 42 hours per week, from 6:00am to 2:30pm, Monday to Friday. Occasional rostered Saturday and overtime.
These things will put you ahead of the crowd:
- GMP/MPI/FMCG environment experience
- A limited electrical licence A or B
- Experience in RCA, FMCG, PLC’s
- Trade/degree qualified
Duties will include:
- Timely resolution of all mechanical breakdown issues
- Planned and routine maintenance
- Effective and constructive liaison with production and planning teams
- Contribution to continuous improvement initiatives
- Managing Small CAPEX projects
- Timely resolution of breakdowns
