With well over 50 years experience working on projects throughout the New Zealand construction industry, this is a market leading medium sized, main contractor. Projects range across Commercial/Industrial, high end Residential, design & build and remediation.
The project pipeline is vast and growth is rapid. Because of this there is an immediate need to recruit a new Senior Quantity Surveyor.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- 10 years + QS experience
- The majority of your experience being in a commercial environment
- Experience working on a variety of commercial projects
- To be competent in the management and training
- A Quantity Surveying qualification
- Experience of risk management and cost control
- Competency in arranging payments
- Experience providing advice on contractual claims
- To be highly competent reviewing variations
- Experience in report writing
