- Minimum 3-years’ NZ experience in similar position
- Experience with: AS/NZS-4801 (or) ISO-18001
- Manufacturing company
- Very hands on – responsibility
- Reasonable - out of Auckland travel
- Fixed term contract – with possible extension
Our client is an established NZ business name with few manufacturing sites across New Zealand. Their Auckland manufacturing site is in South Auckland.
We are currently looking for an experienced Health & Safety Advisor (Fixed term) for immediate start. Ideal candidate will have minimum 3-years’ NZ experience working with Health & Safety systems in a manufacturing company.
Responsibilities:
- Health & Safety audits
- Reviewing old systems, writing new systems - if necessary
- Implementing new systems
- Managing and maintaining – H & S policies
- Hazard and risk analysis
- Accident/injury investigation
- Promote Health & Safety practice
- Staff training
- Reporting & advising - senior management
Skills and experience:
- In-depth knowledge of New Zealand Health & Safety legislation
- Experience working with AS/NZS – 4801 (or) ISO – 18001
- Minimum 3-years’ NZ experience in similar role
Salary is based on skills and experience. This is a fixed term contract with possibility of extension
