At NCS, we specialize in installing and maintaining medical alarms and Nurse Call systems, Security, MATV and Data for the aged care industry.

Our offices are based in Auckland, Wellington, Tauranga, Christchurch and Melbourne, Australia. 

The role:

Due to immense growth in the age care sector, we are looking for a Project Manager to join our busy team. . Working closely with our Technical Team and our Project Managers for Security and Contracts you will be responsible for projects in Auckland. This can be anything from new builds to retrofits of mainly retirement facilities. 

Reporting to the General Manager you will play a pivotal role in the lifecycle of a project and be the main port of call for our customers. Once a tender is won you will be responsible for all documentation (including drawings, Health & Safety paperwork, variations and progress claims) and you will order all parts and ensure that resources are booked, complete and ready to go while keeping everyone involved updated and informed. 

Ideally, you have a background in construction, telecommunications or security and knowledge of structured cabling. You will have a team of dedicated installers who report to you but you will be required to be hands-on, get involved and lead by example. 

Qualities of the successful candidate are:

· 2+ years' experience relevant project management experience 

· Tertiary qualified in a relevant field 

· "on the tools"

· Strong communicator, both written and verbal

· High attention to detail 

· Excellent interpersonal skills and a natural ability to establish strong relationships with key stakeholders at all levels internal and external 

· Able to perform under pressure and work to deadlines 

· Highly organised with great attention to detail with the ability to organise others 

· Demonstrate initiative 

· Good time management skills

· self-motivated and solution orientated 

· Show initiative, get "stuck in" and lend a hand where needed 

· Identify with company values of "Positive, Passionate, Honest 

· Knowledge of MS Projects is an advantage but not essential

 The successful candidate must be available to be be on-call once every 3 months.
