We provide a full range of accounting compliance and planning services to customers throughout the region and beyond.  Our customers are successful SME and high-end businesses operating across a range of industries. 

Having recently switched to a regional model and more personalised service for our customers, we are currently in the market for Bookkeepers & Cloud Solutions experts for our North, Central and South regions. 

About the Role

We are looking for Bookkeepers in each of our regions who will assist our customers with the ongoing financial recording and management of transactions that keep their business running smoothly. Your typical day will extend beyond data entry into the realm of providing automated process and efficiency to our business owners. We are interested in staff who are customer centric, team focused and passionate about cloud systems to help look after our existing customers and grow our cloud solutions offering.

Key Duties include:

  • Managing payable and receivable invoices including entry and batch payments
  • Completing bank reconciliations
  • Complete payroll and PAYE returns
  • NZ Companies Office management on behalf of customers
  • Provide effective Xero training to customers and/or their internal staff
  • Automate all bookkeeping functions where possible
  • Oversee the implementation of software within customer businesses including recommendations and assistance regarding Xero apps

Skills, Behaviours, Experience

  • A minimum of 2 years generalist bookkeeping experience
  • Strong knowledge of Xero essential
  • Experience using other Xero apps including WFM, Receiptbank, Shopify and Vend an advantage
  • Knowledge of payroll software such as SmartPayroll & Paysource, also an advantage
  • Able to create and maintain strong working relationships with customers, external suppliers and internal colleagues
  • Able to prioritise and manage workload effectively and to specified deadlines
  • Able to Remain focused on the end task and desired results
  • Effective at identifying problems and providing appropriate solutions
