Our client is a high-performing chartered accounting firm with a unique culture combining the benefits of a smaller and friendlier team culture and management support with exposure to sizeable (Big 4/mid-tier type) clients.
We have an opportunity for a technically strong managerial professional with sound (current or recent) NZCA experience and proven people management competencies to join the firm in a key Manager role.
Working closely alongside the partners in the firm, you will use your extensive accounting knowledge, team and client relationship management competencies and ability to delegate to deliver outcomes of the highest standards.
Your strong systems skills and good working knowledge of Xero, MYOB, Excel and other packages and programs will come handy in this newly created role.
Our client is looking for an articulate managerial professional with excellent research skills and well-rounded technical skills in financial accounting, management reporting and tax compliance.
Outstanding people skills are essential as you will be involved in training and guiding team members in different stages of their career.
At this level, you will be fully CA qualified with a minimum of 6-7 years practical experience in all aspects of clients accounting, tax compliance and business advisory.
Your positive outlook and can-do attitude will make you a strong contender for this key management role in our client's business advisory services division.
This role can be seen a stepping stone to a Partner role, if this is your longer-term aspiration.
