This company is one of the larger operators of retirement villages and aged care facilities in New Zealand.  The villages are located throughout the country with nearly 4,000 residents across 29 locations.  Each village operates independently and expresses its own character, personality and identity through its people, supported by the corporate support structure.

This exciting position reports to the GM Operations and will be responsible for the day to day operational management of a large and very well-established care and independent living village in Newtown, combining clinical care, villas, apartments, with extensive grounds and resident amenities.

In this key leadership role you will lead a high performing culture of accountability and results to support operational excellence and resident satisfaction.  As the Village Manager, you will play an active role in developing and maintaining outstanding working relationships with internal and external stakeholders, ensure the Village culture supports mission and values, and deliver annual financial and performance targets. 

The successful candidate will have a solid background in operations management and be able to demonstrate strong leadership skills, commercial aptitude, along with your ability to work on competing priorities. You will need to demonstrate a passion for the industry and a customer service approach that sees you operate with a high level of integrity at all times. Additionally, you will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills that will allow you to interact with your team & residents effectively.
