We have an exciting opportunity for a Regional Operations Supervisor, who will manage operations in both of the Wellington and Tauranga regions.

NZ Bus is looking for a Regional Operations Supervisor, who has strong leadership skills, can effectively build and maintain relationships, and is innovative in their approach to delivering company initiatives.

The role will involve leading two teams of Duty Supervisors, one based in Wellington and the other in Tauranga, and overseeing the management of bus operators in both regions. A vital part of the role is ensuring that NZ Bus guidelines and processes are followed when employment relationships with bus operators are managed and influencing a positive culture within the company, promoting the NZ Bus values of respect, reliability and fit for purpose.

As a Regional Operations Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring that specific company performance objectives in the operations department are met and that the company is compliant with contractual obligations. Your role will also involve analysing data to identify trends for setting and maintaining performance standards.

We are looking for someone with:

• Strong leadership skills.
• Strong relationship building and communication skills.
• Excellent writing and reporting skills.
• Flexibility and ability to work in a fast paced and changing environment.
• Computer literate in MS Word and MS Excel.
• NZ Residency or a NZ Work Permit.

The role also entails travel on a regular basis between Wellington and Tauranga.
