Security and Customer Care Manager - Christchurch Casino - Christchurch Location
Christchurch Casino is very much part of the community – it is a key player in providing premium entertainment, gaming, restaurant and beverage choices within the Christchurch CBD.
The Security and Customer Care Manager is seen as a key operational role in the business and we are looking for the right person to effectively and proactively lead, manage and implement all aspects of security, customer care and transport within the Christchurch Casino environment.
Reporting to the Asset Protection and Responsible Gambling Manager you will be responsible for leading a professional team to ensure that the venue is a safe and secure environment for our guests, employees and contractors. You will be charged with identifying and mitigating business risks by ensuring that best practice policies and procedures are followed through and implemented. Developing strong relationships with internal and external stake holders is also a key aspect of this role.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate their proven ability to be decisive, empathetic, sensible, reasonable, pro-active and that they have a measured approach when dealing with people and situations. This is a diverse role that requires you at times to work under pressure and utilise your strong interpersonal, communication, conflict resolution, management and leadership skills. This is a challenging role within a dynamic and evolving business.
We are looking for a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills who can deliver operationally. Your team is busiest in the evening and on the weekends and while not a role that is rostered 24/7, supporting your team when we are operationally the busiest will be part of this role.
Previous background in security or management experience in a casino or gaming environment may be an advantage however applicants with proven strong leadership and management experience with a high level of business acumen should consider applying.
