A fantastic opportunity is available for a eCommerce & Alternate Channels Manager to join our Sales team.
 

The eCommerce & Alternate Channels Manager will define the picture of success (PICOS) for RB NZ in eCommerce and oversee the implementation of key initiatives across the overall RB Business Unit with the objective of maximising sales, profit and distribution of our brands online.  The role will focus on entering new channels as well as optimising performance and sales across our existing eCommerce and ACOT business.  
 
This role reports to the Country Manager and is based at Takapuna, Auckland.
 

  • Promotional strategy per customer, and promotional execution (including trade budget management, range and space optimisation). 
  • Responsible for defining the 4P and PICOS vision across all channels and tracking success against agreed metrics and reporting back to the business. 
  • Influence key stakeholders to deliver excellent PICOS/4P execution (Product/Placement/ Promotion/Price) across total customer portfolio in line with LSM's and GTM Targets.
  • Responsible for managing strategic relationships and customer negotiations in relation to RB commercial strategy and trading terms. 
  • Building digital capability and know-how across the RB New Zealand business.
  • Responsible for defining white space opportunities and representing RB in pitching for new business.
  • Responsible for achieving strategic objectives with trade partners – i.e. Net Revenue, Trade Spend, Gross Margin, Scan Market Share, Product & Placement.  Building long term partnerships with the trading partners.
  • Implementation and ongoing management of the category strategy per customer.  Developing specific category plans & new product launch plans and ensuring successful implementation.
  • Build, monitor and deliver JBP's.
  • Continuous improvement in the management of the account by identifying opportunities for efficiency and profitability and overall improvement in the management of categories.
  • Oversee eCommerce reporting and tracking

 

Is this You?

 

  • Educated to a minimum Bachelor's degree in a commercial subject
  • At least 3 years solid experience in FMCG Account Management or similar
  • Highly analytical and numerate
  • Fluent in English with at least one other language preferred
  • Strong leadership skills and energetic management style
  • Strategic thinker and commercially astute
  • Results oriented, entrepreneurial and self-motivating
  • Tenacious and resilient, driven to achieve even when faced with obstacles
  • Strong understanding of sales and marketing strategy
  • Cross-functional experience
  • In-depth industry knowledge
