My client is one of the best known and respected brands in the building industry in NZ. The dominant player in their market segment they are also the technology leader, constantly offering families, builders, merchants and architects the best solutions for their homes and buildings.

This role assumes full responsibility for a sales territory including Napier / Hastings, Taupo and Gisborne. Your job is to connect the building trades with the appropriate building merchants, offering product support and selection, training and guiding buying decisions. Acting as the ambassador for the brand in your territory you will arrange and attend trade events, ensuring the brand is always front of mind for your clients. 

Your key skill will be your relationship building ability, coupled with professional sales skills including product presentations, personal organisation and great follow up. You need to be able to present yourself very professionally at all times and be totally confident in any social situation, content to network, give presentations etc. Industry experience will be highly rated, or at least you will have worked with a technical product range in the past.
