As a Tenders Manager …
You will be responsible for managing all major tenders and proposals from inception through to contract award. We’re looking for someone switched on with great communication and collaboration skills to work with internal stakeholders to build commercially sound responses to bids and tenders.
Your days will be filled with....
- You guessed it… Assessing, collating data and responding to tender requests, so lots of multi-tasking and working across several bids at any given time
- Planning, organizing and communicating (written and verbal). With your amazing communication skills you will convey accurate, clear and powerful messages.
- Ticking off all the legal, commercial and operational checks, making sure each bid response meets governance requirements
- Collaborating with other teams across the business: ask questions, prompt and get to the bottom of things to ensure our bids are relevant and the best they can possibly be
- Being creative and looking for out of the box solutions. Every customer is different, so are our bids.
We are looking for a Tenders Rockstar! Someone with a track record of successful bid management who can bring a lot of energy to the team.
You will need to:
- Have a Bachelor of Commerce, or Business-related degree
- Have previous bid management experience, using Shipley, Aurora Marketing or Rogen bid methodologies
- Be proficient in document creation, writing, proof-reading and editing. Advanced Microsoft Office skills are a must here, we'd love to see your prowess with PowerPoint, Visio, Project and Adobe InDesign
- Have several years of experience as a sales professional with a great track record in complex B2B sales
