You will know the business and their brands because they will be a part of your everyday life. They are a medium sized FMCG company focused on their people, customers, consumers, communities and the environment. This is a key role on the Sales Leadership team with the primary responsibility to develop and execute a strategic business plan that delivers against targets while working closely with the National Field Sales Manager and Category & Shopper Marketing team to ensure alignment on the execution of the strategy.   
  
So, what do we need from you? You must have strong Grocery experience, and preferably you have developed senior relationships within Foodstuffs or Progressives. You must be results focused, have got to be savvy, commercial and intellectually agile, have a great team attitude, be composed and customer focused. Naturally you will be good with numbers and have an ability to translate insights into actions. Your time management skills will be strong - being organised and unflappable will be obvious!

We would love to see multi nationals or blue-chip organisations on your CV and we would expect to see progression and development of your own, evidencing your capability, drive and ambition. You will have 3 direct reports, so we want to see strong leadership capability and evidence of coaching and development from a past life.  
 
Basically, we are looking for a bright, driven, experienced individual who can 'hold their own' with anyone and is ambitious and hungry to do well. It's all about attitude, drive and focus so if you can demonstrate those traits then we should be talking.
