Commercial Sales Manager
We are looking for a Commercial Sales Manager to lead Nova's commercial sales function to maximise commercial customer acquisition and retention and optimise profitability from this segment of the market. The commercial sales manager position reports to the General Manager Sales and Marketing.
About the role:
- To develop a commercial sales business plan that will help Nova achieve its short and long term commercial customer acquisition and retention targets and business and financial objectives
- To manage the operations of the commercial sales team to ensure the delivery of all commercial sales targets and objectives
- To deliver annual commercial sales targets and objectives within budgeted financial parameters
- To attract and retain the best sales people and have the optimal structures in place to support a high performance commercial sales team
About you:
- Experience in sales management in the energy, utilities or a similar sector
- Proven experience in leading a high performance sales team and consistently delivering sales targets and objectives
- Strong sales management competency to ensure Nova attracts and retains the best sales people and has the optimal structures in place to support a high performance commercial sales team
- Commercially astute with strong analytical and negotiation skills to ensure all sales transactions deliver the best possible financial outcomes for Nova Energy
- Strong attention to detail to ensure all internal processes, HSE, reporting, training and compliances requirements are set-up and followed through to the highest standards
