Service Delivery Manager – Whangarei Based

With that said, we currently have a permanent opportunity for a Service Delivery Manager to join our Customer Services team. You will be reporting directly to the Head of Customer Services.
 
In this role you will be responsible for:
 

• Providing a focal point and conduit for the customer into the healthAlliance (hA) IS shared services, including third party vendors
• Ensure the engagement model between the customers and hA is collaborative and transparent and has measurable outcomes
• Ensure that information is clear, fact based and available
• Ensure the quality of services offered by the hA IT organisation is of the highest achievable level and champion opportunities for continuous improvement for business as usual (BAU) operations, project delivery and change introduced into the customer environment
• In conjunction with the broader hA IT Management  team, coordinate and manage resources from within hA to ensure agreed service levels are met, maintained and reported upon
• Support patient centred  clinical delivery in line with the Northern Region strategic plans through the use of CareConnect service lines
• Support regional alignment for change through the appropriate regional advisory groups, consumer groups and steering groups.
• Facilitate effective communications and maintain a feedback loop between hA and customers (Vendors, DHBs, primary Care,& community provided services)
• Provide leadership, guidance and mentoring to all hA resources both directly or indirectly providing services to the customer
• Provide Manager site contact for both hA staff and NDHB customers

 
To be successful in this role, we are ideally looking for the following skills and experience:
 

• Certification in IT Service Management or a relevant tertiary qualification
• 5+ years’ experience working in an Information Services organisation particularly in a Service Delivery Manager Role
• Demonstrable experience obtaining results within a complex organisation with varied stakeholders
• Demonstrable experience working in a client facing capability as the main point of contact, fronting the services of a large multi-functional information services delivery organisation
• Health Sector experience or experience in a similar role will be an advantage
