As Key Account Manager, you’ll take ownership for strategically developing the Foodstuffs South Island account, working closely with key business partners in category and marketing. You’ll be the main contact with Foodstuffs with a view to partner and forge strong relationships, all the while seeking to achieve win/win outcomes, driving volume and profitability.
You’ll engage at a strategic level, with joint business reviews and category planning, developing sales strategies to achieve business goals and implement and achieve annual revenue, category and operating targets. Working closely with the Field Sales Team to ensure excellent execution of account plans at store level including ranging, promotions, shelf presence and displays.
Must have experience in FMCG grocery sector, and you need proven knowledge of strategic retail category plan development and implementation. You’ll be commercially minded, fantastic at managing relationships and back this up with excellent negotiation skills. You will be energetic and engaging, and you must have strong category and analytics skills with a track record of success, bringing a category story to your client to win the business. You’re a team player and have amazing communication skills, and you enjoy working with other functions across the business
