Our client seeks an enthusiastic advisor to promote health and safety in line with their codes for best practice
The company

The role
Reporting to the Health, Safety and Environmental Manager, you will provide proactive and influential assistance and support, enabling a positive culture change which allows safety to be thought of as 'business as usual'.
The role is responsible for ensuring compliance to both internal and external standards and requirements, including current Health and Safety legislation. Experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment is a must.
Duties
- Employee engagement, floor to leadership team
- Drive full completion of assigned HSE campaigns by due date
- Maintain regular reporting to the senior management team
- Monitor and review return to work programs
- Coordinate and manage the H&S Committee and records
- Support and prepare monthly toolbox talks
- Maintain compliance to current legislation
- Conduct internal and support external audit requirements
- Provide and coordinate employee and contractor inductions
Skills and experience
- Tertiary qualification is preferred
- Solid experience in a manufacturing environment
- Up to date knowledge of current legislation
- Exceptional relationship building and communication skills
- Excellent computer and IT skills
- Comfortable in an environment of significant change and improvement
