Geneva Healthcare is a leader and trusted name in healthcare services and staffing. Our Temporary Services division is currently recruiting for a Bookings Consultant to manage our fast paced and ever growing Aged Care portfolio.

This is a 'hot desk' position, working collaboratively with the Aged Care Recruiter. The core functionality of your role will be booking your bureau of staff in to your clients shifts. You will also be required to step in to the recruitment position to support your team member as required.

We require someone with high energy and driven by achieving KPIs (targets). Someone who wants to grow the business and be rewarded for their achievements.

You will able to manage multiple deadlines, have excellent verbal and written communication skills and a high level of IT skill. Experience in a similar role within a temp bookings environment would be advantageous, particularly if this has been in the health sector.

Salary will be negotiated based on your level of experience. We offer incentives on top of your base salary for targets met and exceeded.

The key functions of this role are:

  • Receiving job orders from clients from all over New Zealand
  • Booking staff into Aged Care client shifts/assignments nationally
  • Working in call centre type of environment
  • Recruit health professionals to the portfolio in the absence of your team mate
  • Telemarketing calls and at times onsite client visits
  • Providing regular activity reports and analysis to key clients
  • Managing compliments, incidents and complaints
  • Working with our high functioning and technical phone and software system
  • At times, co-ordinating training and also staff care

You will demonstrate the following:

  • Previous experience in bookings/temp desk environment and/or work in health sector advantageous
  • Advanced computer skills
  • Proven track record in customer service
  • Excellent phone manner
  • Ability to work at a fast pace
  • Driven by exceeding targets
