About the role

As part of our People and Culture team you’ll implement and drive strategic communications that bring to life our Bank’s Vision and Purpose and strengthen our organisational culture.

By working alongside our organisation, you’ll re-establish channels and build processes that grow our communications capability and ensure our written and verbal communications are consistent and aligned to our culture and key messages.

Because The Co-operative Bank is owned by our customers, everything we do, every day, is for their benefit.

Key responsibilities

  • Re-establishing an effective internal communications function for the Bank
  • Professionalise  our communications activities that are currently ad hoc
  • Build the capability of our organisation to communicate more effectively
  • Differentiate communications approach across Head Office and Branch Network.

You’ll bring the following experience to the table:

  • Strategic internal communications experience - specifically focused on change management, culture and support of HR programmes.
  • Experience coaching and up skilling others in communications skills
  • Tertiary qualification is necessary.
