NakiCloud is a very well respected Managed IT Service Provider who have a number of years’ experience providing onsite Public and Private Cloud Hosting and IT services to the Taranaki region.
You will be an integral part of our expansion plans and we are seeking the interest from professional System Engineers who enjoy providing a high level of services and also enjoy challenging themselves to find solutions. The work is varied as we have a range of clients from 800 users to 5 users.
Services include:
Managed IT Services and Support, VOIP Phone Systems, Cloud Hosting & Storage, Remote Backup, Firewalls and System Security, Broadband Solutions, Wireless Mesh, Design and Remote Access.
The Role
You will work with a range clients to integrate all of their IT needs and computer related activities and manage them on their behalf. You will meet the needs of their clients through a professional customer focused process and be mindful to spot opportunities to sell services to them if they are needed.
Work will range from typical everyday IT issues to more complex installations/integrations. You will help support predominantly Microsoft Windows-based computer networks and applications.
About You
- Prior experience working on client sites installing and supporting networks and providing hardware support.
- Minimum 2 years practical experience in hardware and systems engineering.
- Technical experience should include Microsoft range including VMware, Windows Server 2008/2012/2016, Microsoft Exchange Server and Windows 10 (ability to install and diagnose issues with machines) and Active Directory.
- SQL Server, SQL Database experience would be desirable.
- Previous MSP/IT Service Provider experience is desirable.
- Networking experience is desirable.
- You will be a strong communicator with good interpersonal skills and enjoy client contact with the ability to communicate well with non-technical people.
- Be customer service focused with the ability to contributing to the sales process.
- You must have eligibility to be able to work indefinitely in New Zealand and fluent English speaking.
