WHAT'S ON OFFER?

We have an urgent requirement for an MS Exchange specialist. The contract will run for six months (initally) and will be based at both Fujitsu and at times on-site at one of our key Managed Services clients - both in the Wellington CBD a few minutes walk away from each other.

In this role you will be part a team that provides management and support of infrastructure to a single Enterprise-level client. We are looking for someone with the ability to be a technical lead and deliver a solution to an incident or request, manage a technical problem and document and present a risk.

A key requirement of this role is advanced Microsoft Exchange skills.  Managing and maintaining the customer's Exchange organisation and messaging servers to best practice and ensuring optimum availability is a core function. 

Other key technologies are Windows Server, Active Directory, VMware, and Citrix.

WHAT DO WE WANT FROM YOU?

To be successful in this role you will need to be able to demonstrate:

Technical Skills

• Office 365
• Exchange 2016 (in a hybrid environment would be a bonus)
• PowerShell - ability to write scripts
• Active Directory -  and the technologies that underpin AD
• Windows OS stack (Windows 2008, 2012, 2016, DNS etc)
• General knowledge of SCCM, VMware,
• Knowledge of Bluecoat and IronPort technologies desirable but not essential 

 Soft Skills

• The ability to step up and act as 2IC for the Team Leader when required
• The ability to lead/ own the  technical resolution of problems
• The ability to manage multiple incidents and problems
• The ability to communicate with stake holders across the business  
• The ability to work well under pressure within a team and support team members in a positive way
• Understanding of ITIL
