You will participate in a unique opportunity to deliver transformational change in an organisation that has the breadth and diversity of services and capabilities to be considered a mini New Zealand. 

You will join the very busy Knowledge and Information Management Team.  They are managing a major system roll-out which is a foundational element of the information capability of the organisation.  This will enable the change to digital by default. 

The specific role is to lead an ongoing review process to identify where, when and how roadblocks are happening and to identify and create opportunities to enhance the digital first working experience.   

You will plan, establish, implement and manage a methodology to deliver a continuous cycle of reviews and activity plans.  This role is expected to support the Project business owner and deliver the following: 

  • Design, implement and manage a fit for purpose methodology that is aligned to good practice service design and delivery. 
  • Ensure the development and delivery of project management artefacts to the necessary standard of quality and within the specified constraints and tolerances including but not limited to: 

           - Project start-up and delivery plans and schedules. 
           - Risks, issues and dependencies management. 
           - Effectively manage resources, proactively identifying and resolving issues. 
          - Project reporting to meet a range of reporting requirements. 
          - Delivery partner management approach and plan. 
          - Change management approach and plan in conjunction with the change manager. 

To succeed in this role you should have a minimum of five and ideally ten years’ experience as a project or programme manager and experience developing project and programme frameworks, process and delivery methodologies to be fit for purpose for the organisation and context. 

You should also have experience leading organisational change projects and delivering ‘as a service’ solutions with a focus on people and process where technology is the enabler.
