At Flux Federation, we create marvellous experiences and products for energy teams and their customers all around the world. Flux is a team of 100+ software developers, designers, test analysts and product people. We’re the team that powers Powershop in NZ, Australia and the UK.

That’s where you come in!  We’re looking for our next awesome Test Analyst.  We’ve got a lot to do in the next couple of years and we want your help!

What we are looking for you to bring:

• You’ve ideally worked in agile organisations before and understand the benefits and challenges of agile.

• You’ll have built up subject matter expertise in your previous roles that has made you really valuable to the delivery teams you work with.

• You care about edge cases and care most that your team know they can rely on you to get them to their goals.

• You’ll have things to teach our us and you’re good at sharing what you know. You’re eager to learn from your team.

What does an awesome Test Analyst look like?

• You’re skilled with people and collaboration. You’ll have difficult discussions but you’re also pragmatic and caring.

• You know the value of testing the concept right at the beginning as well as testing the features once they’ve been developed. We want you involved all the way through.

• You’re really good at making risk based decisions that help you focus your testing effort to where it’s most valuable to us and our customers.

• You’re not afraid to ask for help or to help others.  You’ll want to share what you know whether it’s your team-mates, the whole company, the testing community or even wider.

• You’ll at least be curious about automation.  

• You can explain to your team, to your peers and to your managers how you think about testing, how you formulate an approach and why testing is important.
