The Contract Aim
Our client's aim for this role is to setup a new Automation Test capability and framework within their business, and then to train up their existing Test staff to run with it governing their daily activities.
- Scope of work:
- Define and Set up the Automation Test capability, framework and platform including the tool-sets, process, and skill-sets required
- Set up our initial automation testing suites in the tool-sets for automation testing
- Set up any templates, and configuration required
- Set up any integration required for our source solutions
- Train/Teach our testers on how to set up and run automated testing with a focus on repeatable tests, smoke tests, regression testing of both front-end and integration testing.
- Get some test suites and automated scripts delivered in a repeatable library that we can build on going forward.
The chosen contractor will have:
- Experience in setting up automation testing frameworks and implementing Automation Strategy.
- Proven experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
- Selenium and Mulesoft proficiency essential
- Liaising with software and support engineers and product management to deliver efficient and stable software programs.
- Documenting all processes utilized when undertaking test activities and verify bug fixes.
- Advanced verbal and written communication skills
