Within the Reserve Bank, Digital Services vision is to be the trusted integrator of digital services across information, services, change and security. Digital Services achieves this by working strategically with business partners to provide and manage digital services, critical systems and information security for the Bank to support business initiatives and end users.

The PMO/ Project Lead is the functional leader of project delivery and supporting the effective delivery of multiple projects managed within common and consistent governance and best practice frameworks.  This role supports the oversight of the Bank’s large and complex portfolio of projects.

The role will also be responsible for the set up and management of contracts with project resource organisation’s ensuring an enduring resource connection for the Bank and adherence to the standards and practices that allow for successful delivery of complex projects and programmes.

You will be both coach and mentor to Project Managers and all project based resources formed through strategic outsource partnerships will report to you.
  
We are seeking Project and Programme Management expertise with skills and experience including;

• 10 or more years’ successfully leading and delivering critical ICT-enabled business project and programmes of high complexity
• 5 more years’ leading teams through transformation / changing environments
• Expertise in and ability to development best practice programme/ project governance frameworks and management frameworks
• An ability to establish and maintain professional and constructive commercial partnerships with vendors and suppliers
• Strong leadership abilities with the capability to encourage co-operation, teamwork and the achievement of results through others
• Strong inter-personal skills, with clear evidence of influence skills and facilitation capability and the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across all levels of management
• Demonstrates initiative, enthusiasm and drive, and acts with a high degree of integrity
