What's On Offer?
A permanent opportunity exists for an Applications Packager to join our End User Engineering team to develop SOE architectures for outsourced IT service environments for remote supportability.

You will be required to package applications into MSI format for delivery into managed desktop environments. This will include providing 3rd level support and being an escalation point for Application Packaging issues, problem cases and technical faults, playing an important role in the delivery of the end to end application release.

The team are experts in their field, originally formed in 2006 and now consists of 25 experienced individuals across New Zealand, Australia and the Philippines.  To date, approximately 50,000 have been packaged by the team.

What Do We Want From You?
To be successful in this role, you must possess:

• Experience in SOE design, development and implementation
• Exposure integration to application packaging and deployment methodologies using Windows Installer technology and Microsoft deployment methodologies for Windows XP and Windows Vista
• Application packaging, conflict management and verification techniques using Wise Package Studio an advantage
• Experience with one or more of the following Desktop Management technologies: CA Unicenter Desktop and Server Management Suite, Microsoft SMS/SCCM, Novell ZENWorks
• Ability to succeed in a fast-paced, high demand environment
• Professional technical documentation skills
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
