As the Development Lead, your focus will be on ensuring the team of 10 is focused on achieving amazing results.

What is required is a leader with excellent development fundamentals, who is able to guide and shape the way they work, ensuring the team are empowered to achieve.
My client is on the path of technical change, this includes major systems upgrades, implementation and maturity of an Agile framework, the move to Automation and continuous deployment.
The Development lead will be critical in ensuring the team are prepared to take on the challenges ahead.

Key Skills required:

• Extensive software development experience including owning the entire SDLC
• Strong leadership skills, ideally you will have run teams of 5 + members
• Extensive knowledge of Java & Web Development, including future trends and associated security risks
• Proven experience of working with a mixture of methodologies (waterfall, Agile etc)

You will need to be a fantastic communicator and if you possess a wicked sense of humour, all the better.
