ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Fiber hauling and blowing using blow gun and compressor.
• Fiber Splicing
• Installation inside and outside residential property
• Locate and repair OSB remediation work
• Concrete cutting and reinstatement
• Locate under ground fiber and copper services
• Mounting FTP's with conduit and seddals
• Attending customer premises, discussing the best location for installations, explaining the method of installation in detail to the customer
• Setting up the Wi-Fi modem and password protected wireless network, connecting the customer's Wi-Fi devices to the wireless network (e.g laptops, Ipad's, TV's Media Streaming devices, PC's etc.)
• Installing customer premises CAT 5/ Fiber wiring as required, including cable runs in roof spaces and wall cavities
• Completing all required documentation and uploading completion of photo's via the laptop/mobile/Ipad
• Fault finding and rectification
• Use of technical equipment
• Ability to read Network Framing diagrams
• Capable of using hand and power tools
• Digging and re-instating inside and outside boundary
• Be able to work unsupervised and within a team
• Ability to "think on your feet"
• Be computer literate and have practical computer skills for connecting hardware
• Strong communication skills – orally and in writing
• Methodical and accurate in your work practices
• Highly motivated with the ability to set and achieve goals
• Ability to work at heights
• Ability to work around existing utilities such as buried water pipes and electrical cables.

Must Have

• at least 1 year experience for this position.
• First Aid Training
• Have a Class 1 Full Driving Licence
• Be fit and healthy
