A collaborative team of developers, testers and analysts, their focus is on test driven development and pair programming. The Role
You’ll assist with the development of the company’s web-based products, working within a globally disperse but very collaborative team environment. Test engineers work alongside developers and project managers/scrum masters. There is a requirement to work collaboratively with members of your functional team as well as the QA team.
 
The role is primarily responsible for developing, maintaining and implementing various tests during development and release. You’ll plan, develop and execute tests, develop and maintain automated tests, create functional tests using test frameworks, setup, create and maintain the test environment, run acceptance tests against story branches and highlight test failures to the developers.
 
The Successful Candidate Should Have:

• 5+ years test experience with various forms of testing, including functional, manual and integration testing
• Experience with Database technologies and SQL
• Experience with testing applications for performance, scalability and reliability
• Experience with web based e-commerce applications
• SCRUM and pair programming experience desirable
