This organisation is now recognised as a leader in its sector through innovative practices and out-of-the box thinking. Headlining this has been development work around business analytics and data warehousing, sanctioned and lead from the top of the organisation. The recent appointment of the Data Warehouse and Business Intelligence Lead, has seen the creation of this new role.
The primary function of the role will be to:
- Provide high quality support by supporting data collection, cleansing and reporting.
- Develop new applications and provide ongoing support.
- Provide basic troubleshooting.
We're looking for the following as a minimum:
- 1-2 years’ experience using SQL Server, TSQL and database management systems.
- 1-2 years’ experience developing applications using Visual Studio, .Net, JavaScript, APIs (REST, RPC).
- Strong MS Excel skills i.e. Pivot tables and charts.
- Knowledge of data extraction from different sources, transforming and loading into database.
- Proven ability to learn new applications, processes and procedures.
- Ability to manage competing priorities.
- Proven team player with can do attitude.
Ideally we'd also like experience in Power BI, Data warehouse and Kimble methodology. However, this is not essential as we're after the right person with the right attitude and capability to learn.
