Right now we’re looking for an innovative Product Manager to lead the long-term strategy and direction on one of our key Product features!

As a Product Manager within our small business team, you will be responsible for driving customer and business value through the ownership of new and existing business channels from early-stage research and ideation, through to implementation and iteration based on key commercial & customer outcomes.


What you’ll do:

• Understand customer problems and be a champion of the ‘what’ and the ‘why’ to help deliver value through defining, driving and executing measurable outcomes through a product roadmap to realise Xero’s vision and objectives.
• Bridge technical and business worlds as you lead strong and productive relationships with global business stakeholders to understand and deliver on market needs and priorities.
• Work with engineering, design, strategy, product marketing, and research teams to uncover customer needs and new product value propositions in line with Xero’s vision.
• Work closely with your peers in the product group leadership team; the development manager, agile coach, designers and architect to deliver quality software with amazing user experiences that solve real customer and business problems
• Lead, support and grow a team of Product Owners to become world class.

What you’ll bring:

Product-

• A passion for small business and creating beautiful products that solve real customer and business problems.
• A strong understanding of Lean-Agile software development principles.
• Extensive experience working with software development projects at scale.
• A solid track record of addressing customer needs through the innovative use of technology and a proven ability to influence outcomes at all levels.
• Commercial acumen to help define the strategic vision for our products and own the roadmap execution to achieve that vision.
• Previous experience as a Product Manager and the demonstrated ability to collaborate with a diverse group of stakeholders to realise commercial outcomes.
• An ability to break down complex problems, deliver real-world business outcomes and handle ever-changing priorities.

• Proven experience in building high-performing teams, fostering an open and collaborative environment.
