Located in the heart of Manukau we are closely located to public transport and amenities including cafes, retail outlets and two of Auckland’s finest institutes of technology.

We are looking for a passionate certified Data Analyst. The successful candidate will turn data into information, information into insight and insight into business decisions.

Essential Skills and Competencies:

The successful in candidate will have the ability to:

• Pay attention to detail, communicate well and be highly organised
• You will need to understand the data and be able to provide insight and analysis through clear visual, written and verbal communication.
• Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reports
• Develop and implement databases, data collection systems, data analytics and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality
• Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain databases /data systems
• Identify, analyze and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets
• Filter and clean data by reviewing computer reports printouts and performance indicators to locate and correct data anomalies
• Work with management to prioritize business and information needs
• Locate and define new process improvement opportunities

 You will:

• Have proven working experience as a data analyst or business data analyst
• Have strong knowledge of an experience with reporting packages (Business Objects etc), databases (SQL etc) programming (XML, Javascript etc)
• Have knowledge of statistics experience using statistical packages for analysing datasets (Excel etc)
• Be Adept at queries, report writing and presenting findings
• Be fully conversant with the Microsoft suite of office based software
• Hold a relevant qualification in this field.
• Hold a clean, full New Zealand driver's licence, driving a manual vehicle is desirable
