About Telegistics and the Role
Become part of the dynamic and engaging new team at Telegistics that owns and drives the business strategy for distribution of Cisco products in New Zealand.
Take control of Business development, make an impact, and shape the market by engaging with our customers and inspiring sales teams to drive the Cisco portfolio of products in New Zealand, based in Wellington.
Telegistics is one of two Cisco Distributors in New Zealand who also has the exclusive distribution rights for Cisco Spark Collaboration products.
We are looking for a highly motivated Business Development Manager who will grab this opportunity, driving growth of Cisco Security, Networking products and automation through the adoption of Hybrid and Cloud based IT services.
What You'll Do:
- Own and deliver on the sales targets for Telegistics focused on the Cisco portfolio of products
- Forecast, track and analyse the bookings/pipeline of the Cisco business
- Conduct regular pipeline sales reviews with Cisco New Zealand BDMs & PSS teams
- Proactively seek out opportunities to capture market share and drive the adoption of Security and Cloud based services in New Zealand
- Take responsibility for developing and implementing the go-to-market plans to accelerate the growth of Cisco Products in the New Zealand market (Resellers and End Users)
- Provide subject matter expertise for and work closely with our channel partners, enabling them to succeed
- Work with Cisco New Zealand BDM & PSS team members aligning our respective business strategies to drive success and market penetration
- Work with both Telegistics and Cisco New Zealand Marketing and Sales teams to drive campaigns and programs, generating incremental bookings and pipeline
- Capture and drive Cisco products and solutions requirements suitable for the New Zealand market
- Drive training and awareness initiatives for Reseller partners
- Develop a network of Reseller partners who thrive through their dealings with Telegistics and our stakeholders
Who You Are:
- Passionate about helping companies make a difference by changing the way they work through technology
- Understands and can articulate how IT solutions power business growth, innovation and productivity
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in a selling or a consulting role for Security, Networking, Software or Cloud product offerings
- A strong working knowledge of ICT and the New Zealand Industry
- Exceptional oral communication, presentation and written skills
- A history of meeting or exceeding business objectives and revenue targets
- Strong business network and knowledge of the New Zealand ICT market including customers and partners
- Works autonomously, but is integral to working as part of a high performing team who consistently smash targets
- Suitable Technology or Business university degree qualification preferred
- Driven to succeed in a market that has huge growth potential
