Seeking a PHP Developer who is skilled in or has knowledge developing in JavaScript or ReactJS.
Work for an Award winning digital agency in the heart of Wellington that focuses on designing and building the best and most effective user experiences for some of New Zealand’s biggest brands.
You'll be involved in start to finish project work where you will be building websites, web applications and mobile applications for exciting long term ongoing projects.
Ideally you will have 3 - 5 years commercial experience with PHP Development and be skilled in or have knowledge of JavaScript, ReactJS as well as experienced in CMS platforms, SilverStripe.
In this role you will be working with amazing talented people who pride themselves on their culture and be in a newly refurbished trendy open plan office space.
Key Requirements:
- Minimum 3 - 5 years commercial experience with PHP
- Skilled in or knowledge in MySQL, JavaScript and ReactJS
- CMS platforms; SilverStripe
- Willingness to travel for work as required, mostly to main cities in NZ, occasionally overnight
- Ability to work across platform in a variety of client settings
- Excellent problem-solving skills, a love for technical challenges, and a willingness to learn.
Desired experience with:
- OOPHP
- Package managers like Composer, Bower, RubyGems, Bundler, NPM
- NodeJS
- JavaScript frameworks
- Git
- Gulp/Webpack
- Linux, Apache etc
- jQuery
- Standard compliant APIs (SOAP/REST)
- Bash scripting
- Ruby and Ruby based frameworks like Rails and Sinatra
You will be in the heart of Wellington city in their brand-new office and you will get 5 weeks annual leave and a day off on your birthday.
