Itree is a highly regarded, software development and professional services company specialising in the development and delivery of rich web and mobile software solutions for government agencies and private organisations in the area of regulation, compliance and enforcement.  We are currently expanding further in New Zealand in both Wellington and Auckland.

Who we are looking for:

Itree is looking for expressions of interest from experienced Systems Analysts to contribute to, and lead the Business Solutions efforts in a highly collaborative, fast-paced environment. The position will be located in Wellington and will require some travel to our client offices in Auckland and Australia.

The role will be part of the Business Solutions team, reporting to the Functional Analysis and Design Team Lead and includes:

• Analysing and assessing customer business requirements
• Developing solution design and/or configuration documentation
• Pre-sales activities (preparing focused presentations and relevant material such as videos, brochures or diagrams)
• Assisting with tenders responses (RFTs)
• Requirements gathering and documentation
• Requirements clarification with Technical BAs, client and support
• Produce User Manuals
• Business Intelligence activities including the research and evaluation of business and non-technical technologies
• Analysing customer data and defining data conversion rules
• Building SQL data queries, preferably using MS SQL Server
• Participating in and/or conducting review workshops with clients
• Designing GUI screen wire frames
• Creating generated document templates
• Developing report specifications

To succeed in this role you will need to display:

• Excellent written and verbal interpersonal communication skills
• Critical thinking and the ability to translate requirements into solutions
• Strong technical background and understanding of web applications and database principles
• Ability to effectively interact with software developers to solve business problems
• Ability to work independently
• Confidence and professionalism to work on client site

Our selection will be based on the following:

• University qualification in an IT related discipline
• Experience in similar roles
• Communication skills
• Government sector experience desirable 

Only New Zealand citizens or permanent residents will be considered for this role. It is a condition of employment that the successful candidate be able to obtain a National Police Certificate clearance.
