Desktop Engineer / EUC Analyst

As an End User Computing Analyst, you will be responsible for technical support of end user devices such as desktops, laptops, printers, and handheld devices across the Fletcher Building Group. Your responsibilities will include device configuration, diagnosing technical issues, and repairing / replacing devices when needed. You will take ownership of issues from start to finish as well as escalating them as and when needed.

While our Head Office is in Penrose, this role will require you to work in various sites (Onehunga, Otahuhu, Mt. Wellington, etc) to work closely with our internal customers and provide expert support for their device-related issues.

About you 

To be considered for this role, we’re looking for someone who enjoys working in a collaborative environment and confident communicating at all levels including translating technical speak into common business language. Advanced knowledge and skills in SCCM (application packaging) is a must have while relevant IT qualifications and certifications such as MCP, MCSA, and ITIL will be advantageous. More importantly, we’re looking for a problem solver who can analyse and put structure in ambiguous situations while providing top notch service for our end users.
