Contribute significantly to the scale and design of back-end infrastructure and code to our Xero cloud software platform.

Ideally you'll have:

Considerable to a senior level software engineering experience.

Experience in robust server-side development.

Knowledge of C#, ASP.Net MVC, NHibernate and SQL Server with emphasis on writing modular, scalable code.

Communication skills for a highly collaborative software development process. Knowledge of and experience with Agile development methodologies.

Bonus points if you have:

Experience with financial services software, AWS, familiarity with API web service design, knowledge of Internet protocols and RFC standards, database management systems, and revision control systems.
