Collections Representative - ASAP start date

  • Work in a Customer Service focussed Collections role in the Financial Services industry, Banking.

Position Summary: 

  • Monday - Friday hours - no weekends! Standard business hours
  • Managing the collection of payments on the company portfolio’s – direct with the customer, maintaining a great brand experience and customer resolution on each call
  • Making sure you are aware of customer retention
  • Work with customers to ensure repayment of outstanding debt - giving a personalised experience that is a win win for the customer and the company at the same time
  • Handle inbound collections calls and respond to general queries
  • Achieve overall KPI’s


Experience required:

  • Phone based Collections experience of at least 6 months +
  • Demonstrate a high level of resilience and be able to work in fast paced demanding environment 
  • Self-motivated with a great work ethic
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Customer focus with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Maintain a firm but fair empathetic approach when dealing with customers
  • Must be results oriented, with a high level of integrity and commitment
  • Must be organized, flexible, analytical and resilient when dealing with difficult situations
  • Meticulous, ability to multi-task and work under pressure to meet departmental deadlines
  • A natural ability to build relationships
