What we are looking for:
We are looking for an energetic Customer Services Officer to join our Hamilton branch. Your duties will include daily telephone contact with customers to ascertain their product supply, service and delivery needs, as well as quote management / follow up, database maintenance and receiving and processing orders. You will ensure calls are responded to efficiently and in a professional manner to meet our customers' expectations.
With your great work ethic, positive attitude and excellent problem solving skills - you will be able to effectively and efficiently provide our customers with exceptional customer service! You must be willing to support our busy team, which means that your role will be varied from day to day.
Essential requirements for this role include:
- Strong work ethic and a high level of energy
- Enjoys working within a team environment
- At least two years' experience in a customer service position
- Accurate data entry skills with attention to detail good listening skills
- Respond to internal and external enquiries via email, phone and face to face
- Numerically astute
- Can-do friendly attitude
- Computer skills/computer savvy within the Microsoft environment
- Previous experience with Microsoft Dynamics AX Applications would be advantageous
Building or industrial Industry experience whilst not a requirement, would be advantageous.
Key responsibilities include:
- Processing customer orders
- Manage internal & external customer enquiries with product, pricing and deliveries
- Solve problems and manage customer expectations
- General administration and database work
