Based in South Auckland, my client is a strongly branded, well recognised company and a significant player in the office products industry in New Zealand. Due to growth, we are seeking an upbeat, positive and diligent Sales Support person to join their sales team, as a key Sales Support person.

This role is being offered as a permanent part time role of approximated 24 hours a week and at a rate of $28 -$32 an hour, depending on your experience. This could be a great role for a parent wanting school hours, who can commit to a long-term role.

In this role you will have the opportunity to showcase your high levels of organisation, administration and communication, as you manage a variety of tasks and really put your stamp on the role. 

 Duties will include:

  • Preparing quotes and sourcing information on special products
  • Assisting sales team with customers in their requests and inquiries
  • Producing Customer documents -, proposals and customised order forms
  • Administrative support as required for New Business initiatives
  • Providing support and expertise on special projects
  • Creating and maintaining client information
  • Coordinating and assisting with implementation of new clients
  • Producing reports and analysis work (will be taught) but must have intermediate Excel
  • Preparing and formatting Customer Business Reviews
  • Maintaining Trends Reports and Gap Analysis Reports

You:

  • Previous sales administration support will be highly valued.
  • Confidence to interact directly with customers
  • Enjoys a busy environment - Ability to work at a fast pace!
  • High service orientation –strong customer focus
  • Process and systems driven
  • Strong administration skills with confident use of technology
  • Intermediate Excel experience is necessary
  • Any SAP experience would be very beneficial (or other ERP)
  • Upbeat personality – Definite sense of humour.
  • Must be organised. Good time management – Likes to get things done
  • High level of attention to detail
