About the role
Our Five Cross Roads practice is looking for a Practice Manager for their busy, popular practice. The days/hours are as follows:
Monday - Wednesday: 9.30 am - 8.15 pm (start time negotiable)
Thursday: 8.30 am - 6.15 pm
Friday: 8.15 am - 1.15 pm
In this unique and hands-on role you work in close partnership with the Lead Dentist to drive performance. Overseeing all operational aspects of running a successful practice, you will relish the opportunity to impact change from both a people and commercial perspective. Being hands on at our front desk gives you the chance to personalise your client service, and develop the knowledge to drive the business key performance areas.
At Five Cross Roads, we have a highly qualified dentist operating an emergency type dental practice with high volume demands. We have a team of dedicated people looking after the needs of our patients as and when they require it. We require someone to join our team that can build an engaged team, run with demand, think on their feet, and cover all activities performed within the practice.
About you
To step into this opportunity we are looking for the following skills and experience:
- Demonstrated experience as a Manager (Practice Management in dental or medical would be ideal but is not essential)
- Confident leadership skills, with the ability to give and receive feedback
- Well-developed interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with both our people and our clients
- The ability to work well under pressure, to multi task and be flexible
- An understanding of the financial aspects of a business and knowledge of budgets, sales targets, utilisation, and profit & loss statements
- Confidence with and the aptitude to learn new technology
