The Role
We are looking for a confident sole-charge Office Manager to take full responsibility, ownership and accountability for all day to day accounting and office management functions. As the business is relying on you to manage all office functions, it is important that you already have proven experience in an Office Manager / Accounts role.  This is fast paced environment where you need to be able to turn your hand to any task.  

You will be strong on processes, with a systematic and tidy approach to your work and the ability to take charge with minimal supervision.

Hit the ground running...

Your primary tasks as Office Manager will include but not be limited to:

  • Managing all Reception and Customer Service requirements
  • MYOB - Account Right 2018.2 (Accounts Payable / Receivable / Bank Link Payment Co-ordination / Remittance and Reconcile)
  • Payroll – Flexitime (Time Sheeting / PLOD’s / Personnel Movements)
  • Ensure Health and Safety requirements are met as per company policy including Safety Hardware Compliance / First Aid and Fire Warden Co-Ordination
  • HR and Document Control Functions
  • Full General Office Duties

Oh and don’t forget the coffee....

Working as part of a small management team you are front line for the company. Team work and communication are the key. A calm, positive and friendly manner is required.

You will have a natural ability to think outside of the box, be inquisitive and demonstrate an eagerness and willingness to learn.

Essentials:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Previous Office Management / Administration Experience
  • Be well organised, flexible and able to juggle multiple priorities (to deal with competing demands) 
  • Articulate with a good eye for detail and proofing skills.
  • Constantly reviewing processes and procedures to be more efficient.
  • Be proactive, passionate about what you do, with a can-do attitude
  • Sound Knowledge of MYOB and Microsoft Office Programs
  • Be self-motivated and willing to use your own initiative
  • Trustworthy and reliable 
  • Full clean NZ driver’s licence 
     

A competitive hourly rate is offered, dependent on skills, qualifications and experience.

Working Monday till Friday 8am till 5pm
