If you're looking for something outside of a 9 to 5 job this summer and have a true passion for hospitality then we have the role for you! We're looking for a team of outgoing, motivated and professional individuals to join our on-board Cabin Attendant crew on a fixed term basis.
Your Role:
No two days on board a ship are ever the same and as a Cabin Attendant you will be involved in a variety of different tasks on a daily basis; welcoming passengers on-board, serving in the food court and bar, supervising the play zone, assisting with preparing the ship for sailing, making quality barista coffee and ensuring the facilities are kept clean and tidy.
You will be working 10 hour shifts on a 6 days on, 3 days off roster on one of our three ships. There's no previous experience require; we provide full training, you just need the motivation and aspiration to provide our customers with the amazing service they deserve.
Your Skills:
- A love of providing amazing customer service
- The ability to maintain professionalism in all your duties
- A talent for multi-tasking and the willingness to "go the extra mile"
- Demonstrated ability to think on your feet
- Strong safety awareness and safe work ethic
- Available to attend an Assessment Centre in Wellington on 18th or 19th August
- Available to work over the Christmas/New Year period
What we offer:
In this role you will gain internationally recognised Maritime qualifications (STCW) and full training across a range of customer service solutions. These will be Fixed Term positions from October or November 2018 until the end of January or April 2019, with a competitive salary of $49,157 (pro-rated).
