Would you like to be part of the friendly and professional team at Mercy Hospice, Ponsonby? We provide a range of specialist community palliative care and hospice services for people facing life limiting illnesses, caring for them with the quality, professional skill and compassion.
We are seeking a Relief Receptionist/Administrator to join our team in a casual “on call” basis. A friendly 'can do' attitude and a team player with excellent customer service is a must. You will also be able to ensure a warm and welcoming environment for our clients. You will provide reception and administration cover for daytime and evening shifts between the hours of 7am and 11pm.

- Previous experience in an administration, customer services role

- The ability to communicate confidently and effectively with a wide and diverse range of people and cultures
- The ability to work autonomously with high integrity and trust
- Highly organised to manage a busy and varied work load
- Availability to work weekends and evenings
- Intermediate skill level using Microsoft Office Suite

The successful candidate will need to be well organised with a mature attitude and have excellent customer service and interpersonal skills as this is a front line role. It is important that you are comfortable working in a busy environment with the ability to multi-task. You will also have an "eye” for detail and a desire to provide the best quality service to the many customers, internal and external, that you will come into contact with. Previous medical/clinical experience and/or receptionist experience will be highly regarded however on the job training will be provided to the successful candidate.
Reception is open 7 days per week with two shifts daily: 7am to 3pm and 3pm to 11pm
