This team of four are seeking an enthusiastic and efficient administrator who has a genuine desire to work for an organisation dedicated to making a difference in the lives of others. This is a varied role, providing team support, including the Chief Executive and Board. Our client is a Not for Profit, membership based organisation who support a much needed community service throughout New Zealand. They are looking for someone to work 32 hours per week, and would like that split over 5 days, and can be flexible around start and finish times.
Some of the key responsibilities in the role are;
- Organising travel and accommodation for Board members
- Coordinating meetings, creating agendas and taking minutes
- Ad-hoc support to the Chief Executive, including diary management
- Processing programme applications and liaising with applicants
- Event coordination
- Ensuring the smooth running of the office
Because the office is small, they are seeking a candidate who is genuinely flexible to roll their sleeves up and muck in with other duties as they arise, no matter how big or small. The nature of the organisation means that this position is suited to someone who is compassionate, caring and invested in improving the lives of others.
The ideal candidate will have;
- Proven experience in a comparable role
- Strong time management skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to deal with sensitive issues empathetically and confidentially
