At Advanced Building Services Wellington Limited (ABS) we undertake maintenance, repair, engineering and contracting works on mechanical, electrical and hydraulic services for owners of commercial buildings. Our portfolio includes some of Wellington's most prestigious and technically advanced sites.

The position is responsible for the successful execution of all office, administrative and financial processes and function's. It also provides executive assistance to the General Manager, leadership to 2.5 direct reports and broader teams while keeping a pulse on the wellbeing of our people and business. In addition you will be the super-user of our workflow management system and provide support and back-up for administration and co-ordination roles as and when necessary.
To be successful in this role you require:
- A sound knowledge of finance and accounting principles
- Proven experience in managing the finances of a commercial business and preferably in the Trades or Construction sector
- A high degree of experience working with administrative systems and procedures
- Commercial savvy with people and business leadership experience
- Proven experience in the use of office technology and workflow management systems
- Attention to detail, excellent organisational skills and a high degree of flexibility
- An engaging, warm, transparent and professional manner
- A tertiary qualification in business/business administration would be desirable
- Must be legally able to work in New Zealand
