Pets and Pats - Luxury Doggy Day Care & Home Farmstay
Pets and Pats is a luxury daycare with overnight farm stay for their regular gorgeous dogs. The dogs enjoy their own safe, private, gated country estate where they have plenty of room to run, play and receive plenty of cuddles.
Located just 20 minutes from Auckland's CBD, our customized school Pup Buses pick up and drop off gorgeous doggies each day from their home for a fun day on the farm.
With only a small number of canine guests and a 24/7 dedicated team of petcare professionals with years of experience and qualifications the doggies parents can relax knowing their baby is safe and happy with us.
Our boutique service means we have clients as young as 12 weeks and as old as 18, and we cater for the pawty animals, the lounge lizards, the athletes and the more shy and retiring types. The farm is like a resort where the doggies can enjoy doing as much or as little as they like, choosing from:

Position One ~ DOGGY HANDLER & SCHOOL BUS DRIVER
AUCKLAND & DAIRY FLAT
*Mon - Fri 8:00am - 4:00pm
Additional hours as required & agreed
Position Two ~ DOGGY DAYCARE & LODGING SUPERVISOR
DAIRY FLAT
*Mon/Weds/Fri 8:00am - 4:00pm
Tues & Thurs 7:30am - 6:30pm
Additional hours as required & agreed
Position Three ~ DOGGY DAYCARE & LODGING SUPERVISOR - WEEKENDS
Saturday & Sunday 7.30am - 6pm
~ You must have experience with dog handling skills and a focus on safety. In all roles great customer service and people skills are required.

Skills and experience
DOGGY SCHOOL BUS DRIVER & HANDLER
You will have your own regular dogs that you safely collect and return home in your purpose built doggie school bus. Therefore, you must be a safe driver, with a full license and be able to drive manuals and automatics. As you will be accessing doggie homes you will have a clean police record.
DOGGY DAYCARE
While the dogs are at the farm for either daycare or lodging, you will be responsible for ensuring the dogs are supervised, happy and well looked after. This includes exercising and socialising the dogs as well as ensuring they are fed, clean, safe and happy and have any medications they may need. You will be experienced in dog
health and handling.
CUSTOMER SERVICE & PEOPLE SKILLS
As every dog has their own human family, you must love people as much as dogs and be a great team player as we are a small, close knit team. You will be interacting with parents when they check in and out their
doggies for lodging as well as when you pick the dogs up for school.
**MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS - NON NEGOTIABLE**
You will be an experienced dog handler, with the qualifications and experience to back it up. It's not enough to say you have your own dog. You love dogs as well as people and have a strong record of customer service and working well in a team. You will have a full driver's license and clean police record.
You will be able to work alone and independently as well as with others.
You will have a strong work ethic and a positive attitude. Dogs and people love being around you. You are dependable, responsible, reliable and totally trustworthy.
Attention to detail is a must as is being able to roll your sleeves up. No job too big or small. You must be physically fit.
Finally please note, when you work with animals, there is a lot of cleaning involved,
so you must be comfortable with this.
