About the role
The Family Start Supervisor position is central to the kaupapa of Manaaki Ora Trust - Tipu Ora. Family Start is a child centred, family focused, strengths-based service that seeks the best opportunities, outcomes and choices for children and parents. The position will provide professional support, supervision and leadership for Whanau Kaitiaki in the delivery of the Family Start Programme. Accordingly, the Family Start Supervisor shall display a very clear understanding of quality social work practice and the Kaupapa of the Family Start programme and the factors necessary for its successful delivery working collaboratively across all Tipu Ora services and external agencies.
This role's primary objective is to provide clinical supervision and practice leadership. The role will influence and direct Whanau Kaitiaki to maintain and enhance the services level of practice excellence and capability. The Family Start Supervisor is responsible for ensuring compliance with social work practice, policy and tools and providing leadership in strengths-based practice.
This is a 0.8 FTE position.
